Under the alias of Dresser Design, Charmaine Dresser is an upholsterer and designer based between Essex and East London.

Fabric has always been at the heart of everything Charmaine does. After studying Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art and a varied career working in Set Design for Fashion, TV, Advertising and Events, Charmaine decided to pursue her love of interiors by training at the Upholstery Skills Centre. Now a fully fledged member of the Association of Master Upholsters, she works with domestic clients, interior designers and art directors to fulfil their visions.

A love of colour and pattern and the thrill that comes from transforming tired old furniture into a statement piece is what drives Charmaine. With a mindful approach to the impact on the planet, all products sold are made from remnant fabrics from the interiors business to help prevent them from entering landfills.
